Installing A 3-Hole Bathroom Sink Faucet

A popular choice among those who like to be able to replace their sink with ease, the faucet for a 3 hole bathroom sink is widely available and easy to find.3 hole bathroom sink faucet Many retailers have it in stock and shipping to you within a few days. It's really easy to install, but does require a bit of work on your part. Before attempting to do so, read the instructions carefully and/or watch a video if one exists. If you don't follow the instructions exactly, it may result in damage to your sink.

To start, you will need a pair of pliers.3 hole bathroom sink faucet 3 hole bathroom sink faucet You'll use these for loosening and removing the old faucet. First, locate the drain hole by placing the flat side of the wrench over the top of the sink. The sink handle should point to the left and you will see three small holes.

Place the new faucet over the three holes. Make sure that it is mounted to the sink properly. Using the wrench, loosen the nut which holds the faucet in place. You may need to use pliers to reach the other holes as well. Once the nut is loosened, turn the faucet clockwise until it pulls out of the sink easily. You may need to do this a couple of times to make sure that it is installed correctly.

Now it's time to install the new faucet into the hole. Lay the new faucet down on the bottom of the sink and hold it securely with pliers. Slide the faucet handle back toward the hole until it is clear from the sink. You may need to do some adjustments to get it to fit correctly, but it should be fairly easy.

Use your screwdriver to hold the faucet in place until you are satisfied that it is secure. Now it's time to drill the sink holes and attach the sink hole screws. The last step of installing a new faucet in a new sink hole is to put a couple of pieces of masking tape in the holes to keep water from dripping.

As with any plumbing repair job, if you have to do it yourself you may want to hire a professional to do the job. If you want to save money, you can simply make the holes yourself. However, for many homeowners, installing a new faucet in a bathroom sink hole is much easier and less expensive than replacing the entire bathroom sink.
